Jones Apparel Group Names New CEO
August 18, 2008
New York-based Jones Apparel Group Inc. announced that Jay Friedman has been promoted to CEO of company-owned retail footwear and apparel. Friedman previously served as president of company-owned retail footwear and apparel, and will continue to report to Andrew Cohen, CEO of footwear, accessories and apparel. Jones Apparel is a designer, marketer and wholesaler of branded apparel, footwear and accessories, and also markets directly to consumers through its chain of specialty retail and value-based stores.
