Spinx Co. Acquires 10 Stores in South Carolina
March 03, 2010
The Spinx Co. has acquired 10 convenience stores from Enmark Stations Inc. in South Carolina, according to CSNews.com. The company plans to rebrand the stores, which are located in Greenville, Anderson, Williamston, Belton, Greenwood, Fountain Inn, Newberry, Lexington and Moncks Corner, with the Spinx name over the next three months. All 10 stores will remain open through the transition process, the company said. With this acquisition, The Spinx Co. now owns and operates 74 convenience retail stores in North and South Carolina, including 24 food-service locations and 33 car washes. "These stores are a great addition to our company and will allow Spinx to expand its product and brand offers to customers in some new areas while filling in important, existing markets," said Stewart Spinks, CEO of The Spinx Co.
