MUJI U.S.A. Ltd., a subsidiary of Japan-based Ryohin Keikaku Co. Ltd., will open MUJI Chelsea, its fourth New York store, on Nov. 28, at 16 W. 19th St. With 3,434 sq. ft. of retail floor space, the store will offer more than 1,450 household items and 350 apparel items. To celebrate, the company will give away three special household items to the first 200 customers who visit the store on the first three days of opening. The items include "New York In A Bag," "New York Handkerchief" and the "Stamp Empire State Building." The company, which opened MUJI to GO at John F. Kennedy International Airport in October, debuted its first U.S. store in SOHO last year.
