L.L. Bean is Number One in Customer Service

New York-based L.L. Bean Inc. was recently awarded the number one position for its customer service, courtesy of the fifth annual NRF Foundation/American Express Customers’ Choice survey, conducted by BIGresearch. Results were released during the January 12, 2010 NRF 99th Annual Convention and Expo in New York. Salt Lake City-based Overstock.com took second place and Henderson, Nev.-based Zappos.com received third place; while Seattle-based Amazon.com took the number four spot and West Chester, Pa.-based QVC Inc. rounded out the top five. The survey polled 8,600 consumers, and was conducted in September 2009.
