AT&T Unveils New Store Design in New England
November 21, 2008
Dallas-based AT&T Inc. has unveiled its newest store design with a new location in the South Shore Plaza in Braintree, Mass. Unique features of the Braintree store enable customers to experience all of AT&T's music offerings from Napster, iTunes, eMusic, MusicID, Pandora and XM Satellite Radio on wireless phones, Bluetooth headphones and Bluetooth external speakers. Customers can also transfer songs by using a laptop or mobile phone. AT&T experts also will show gamers how to download games to wireless phones and laptops at this station. Geared toward road warriors, on-the-go customers and small business owners, a front-of-store station includes wireless phones, PDAs, smartphones and GPS and Bluetooth accessories. Customers can learn how to use e-mail and Microsoft applications on these devices, as well as learn how to use the multimedia messaging and photo- and video-sharing capabilities. Other in-store features include six live iPhone demo units and flat-panel HD video screens. A series of Guided Selling Kiosks also provide information to help customers select the right rate plan and wireless device.
