Starwood Hotels & Resorts Opens New Hotel in Washington, D.C. Area

White Plains, N.Y.-based Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. announced the opening of its newest hotel, The Westin National Harbor, in Prince George's County, Md. The 195-room hotel will be developed and operated by Charlotte, N.C.-based SREE Hotels LLC, and features flatscreen televisions, a fitness center, restaurant and 1,800 sq. ft. of meeting space. Westin Hotels & Resorts currently has more than 157 locations in 31 countries; and Starwood Hotels & Resorts operates 850 properties in 95 countries.
