Dallas-based AT&T has transformed its retail store in Troy, Mich. The refreshed store features store design and merchandising elements first seen in AT&T’s Chicago flagship store on Michigan Avenue. The concept was a result of more than two years of exploration and research aimed at creating a more interactive and inviting store environment. Design features include: a flexible design and open layout to encourage exploration, integrated digital screens, “lifestyle vignettes” highlighting music, home security, entertainment and more, and “community tables” that encourage customers to interact with the products. The new design will be rolled out at new and redesigned store locations across the country, continuing into 2014.
