Dallas-based AT&T Inc. will open a 10,000-sq.-ft. flagship on Chicago's Magnificent Mile. The store, located at 600 N. Michigan Ave., will feature an “Explorer Lounge,” where customers can play and learn about apps, an “Apps Bar” with “app-tenders” who will give one-on-one demos, and an 18-ft. “Connect Wall” that will show interactive content and product information. Merchandise will be organized into “Lifestyle Boutiques,” including Get Fit, Be Productive and Chicagoland, which will include exclusive accessories by Chicago-area artists. Additionally, the store has been designed and built with sustainable materials and practices, including Energy Star appliances and temperature controls, and reclaimed teak wood.
