American Eagle Opens Philippines Store

Pittsburgh-based American Eagle Outfitters Inc. opened its first-ever store in the Philippines on March 1. Located at Bonifacio High Street in Taguig City, the new store is the first of many that American Eagle plans to open throughout the country in 2013 through its partnership with The Suyen Corp. American Eagle has been rapidly expanding its international presence for the past four years, and currently operates 45 franchise stores in 11 countries, including Russia, Poland, China, Hong Kong, various cities throughout the Middle East, Mexico, Israel and two flagship locations in Japan.
