Parisian fashion house Balenciaga has opened a store in Rome, according to www.wwd.com. The bi-level, 3,760-sq.-ft. store, located on Via Borgognona, marks the brand’s third unit to open in Italy. The other two boutiques are located in Milan and Venice. The new boutique, located in an 18th-century building, has the feel of a Roman apartment, featuring arched ceilings, wood and marble floors, vintage lamps and a series of intimate rooms with ambient lighting.
