Barnes & Noble to Open New Store in Fredericksburg, Va.

New York-based Barnes & Noble Inc. announced that it will open a new bookstore on Nov. 7 at the Central Park shopping center in Fredericksburg, Va. The store will include a sales floor of more than 60,000 books, newsstand titles, gifts and DVDs, a NOOK Boutique showcasing the company’s family of NOOK Readers and Tablets, a new Educational Toys & Games Department, and a Café featuring Starbucks coffee. The new Central Park Barnes & Noble also will feature large-scale Children’s and Teen Departments, a Giant Newsstand and the new B&N@School Department with educational tools and resources for teachers, librarians and parents.
