Barnes & Noble to Open Oregon Store

New York-based Barnes & Noble Inc. will open a new bookstore in Tigard, Ore. Slated to open Nov. 14, the store will be located in the Bridgeport Village shopping center. The two-story location will offer more than 60,000 books, newsstand titles, gifts and DVDs, a NOOK Boutique, a new educational toys and games department, and a café featuring Starbucks coffee. Currently, the company operates 689 bookstores in 50 states.
