C. Wonder Opens Second New York Store

New York-based C. Wonder has opened its second Manhattan store, located at the Shops at Columbus Circle at Time Warner Center, according to www.wwd.com. The 8,000-sq.-ft. store features life-sized, multicolored striped zebras, polka-dotted horses, 6-ft. logo teddy bears and an LED-illuminated portal entrance. The store is divided into themed rooms, including a "disco room" with white plastic stools and lights inspired by disco balls. Currently, C. Wonder operates seven U.S. stores. The company plans to open three additional U.S. stores this year, and its first international stores at the end of next year in markets, such as Germany, Japan, Australia, Europe and South America.
