C. Wonder Retail Concept Store Debuts in New York
October 26, 2011

New York-based C. Wonder opened its first-ever retail store in New York’s SoHo neighborhood on Oct. 22, according to www.businessweek.com. The store offers brightly colored and moderately priced home-décor products, as well as casual women’s clothes. The fitting rooms are equipped with small touchscreens, allowing customers to change the music and lighting as they try on clothes. In addition, sales associates are equipped with iPod Touches to provide customers with information about the clothes. Three more C. Wonder stores are slated to open in 2011: a store at The Westchester mall in White Plains, N.Y.; another at the Garden State Plaza mall in Paramus, N.J.; and a third at the Roosevelt Field mall in Garden City, N.Y.  The company also plans to roll out 20 more stores across the country in 2012.
