Centiva Nominated for Green Corporate Citizen Award

Florence, Ala.-based Centiva was recently nominated for a Green Corporate Citizen Award, sponsored by Greenstar Recycling. Centiva is active in local community environmental efforts, including Adopt-A-Mile, Shoals Earth Month Inc., Florence City Schools Litter Critter Contest and a recent sustainable beautification project. The company also is a City of Florence Green Team Partner. They were selected as one of three finalists from more than 60 entries nationwide. The winners will be announced at the Corporate Recycling & Waste Conference in Orlando, Fla., on Sept. 12.
