Corner Bakery Cafe Expands in Boston

Dallas-based Corner Bakery Cafe will expand its presence in the Northeast, with plans to open 18 new restaurants in the Boston area. Company executives believe Boston represents a tremendous growth opportunity that will play a key role as Corner Bakery Cafe moves forward on its goal to double its U.S. footprint by the end of 2015. The company also recently sold out markets in Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Founded in downtown Chicago in 1991, Corner Bakery currently operates more than 145 restaurants in 14 states and Washington, D.C.
