Costco to Accelerate Warehouse Openings

Issaquah, Wash.-based Costco Wholesale Corp. plans to accelerate growth next year, with plans to open between 27 and 30 warehouses, according to Supermarket News. The expansion will be the company’s largest since 2007. The company plans to open 14 warehouses before the end of the year, including nine in the United States, three in Canada, one in England and one in South Korea. Currently, Costco operates 608 warehouse locations globally.
