Secaucus, N.J.-based off-price chain Daffy’s Inc. will close all of its stores, according to www.wwd.com. The retailer has hired a liquidation firm, which will begin going-out-of-business sales shortly. According to the report, most stores will close by the end of October, and a few will close by the end of September. The announcement follows months of financial difficulties for the retailer. Daffy’s operates 19 units, including eight stores in Manhattan.
