Dannon Opens Its First-Ever Restaurant

White Plains, N.Y.-based yogurt brand The Dannon Co. Inc. has opened its first-ever restaurant, dubbed The Yogurt Culture Co. shop, according to Crainsnewyork.com. Located at 125 Park Ave. in New York, the lunch and breakfast eatery offers small-batch premium yogurt paired with fruit purees and other toppings. The restaurant also offers yogurt-infused sandwiches, muffins and salads, and frozen yogurt desserts. Additionally, the shop features traditional yogurt made at the Dannon Discovery and Innovation Center, as well as Greek-style yogurt made by State College, Pa.-based Schreiber Foods, and frozen yogurt from Portland, Ore.'s Yocream.
