Disney Baby Store Opens in California

Glensdale, Calif.-based Walt Disney Co. recently opened its first Disney Baby store at the Americana at Brand shopping center in California, according to www.wwd.com. The 2,400-sq.-ft. store is arranged in sections that include bath time, playtime, on-the-go, getting ready and in the nursery. Each section is divided by wide aisles for maneuvering strollers. Later this month, Disney will open an 800-sq.-ft., in-store shop dedicated to Disney Baby at the Disney Store in New York’s Times Square. Currently, the Walt Disney Co. owns and operates 215 Disney stores in the United States.
