Domino’s Unveils New ‘Theater’ Concept
August 15, 2012
Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Domino’s Pizza has unveiled its new “Pizza Theater” store design. The design brings employees to the front of the store, where customers can watch as they hand-toss pizzas to order. The concept is complemented by a new, single-tile logo, which will appear in the company’s marketing materials beginning in October. The store design includes a lobby, in-store dining, big-screen televisions, and the ability to order from a kiosk and track carryout orders electronically. Additionally, the stores feature chalk boards, allowing customers to express their creativity or to leave feedback for the store team members. Nearly a dozen of these concept stores have been built throughout the United States, from Las Vegas to Gulfport, Miss., so far this year.
