DuPont Opens Shanghai Design Studio

Wilmington, Dela.-based DuPont announced the opening of its newest DuPont™ Corian® Design Studio in Shanghai, China, located in Huashan Square. It is the first of its kind in Asia-Pacific, with additional studios in Milan, Italy, New York and Philadelphia. The new studio features sculptures, furniture and wall cladding. “The DuPont™ Corian® Design Studio Shanghai is adept at bringing eastern and western cultures together, drawing from the rich history of Chinese art and building techniques,” said Michael Young, designer. DuPont operates locations in more than 80 countries worldwide offering products and services for the agriculture, nutrition, electronics, communications, safety and protection, home and construction, transportation and apparel markets.
