Canton, Mass.-based Dunkin’ Donuts, a subsidiary of Dunkin’ Brands Inc., plans to open 24 new restaurants in Birmingham, Ala. The openings are part of a multiunit store development agreement with two franchise groups, Barista Food LLC and Coffee Café Inc. All 24 stores are expected to open by 2018. Currently, the company operates more than 10,000 restaurants in 32 countries.
