Fastest Growing Quick-Service Restaurants Announced

QSR magazine recently published its QSR 50 list, which is comprised of the quick-service restaurants with the greatest U.S. sales in 2011. Topping the list this year is McDonald’s, which added nearly $2 billion to its final domestic sales tally over the previous year. The company operated a total of 14,098 establishments, an increase in 71 units from 2010. The list also included Subway (No. 2), Starbucks (No. 3), Wendy’s (No. 4) and Burger King (No. 5). Subway saw the greatest store growth, opening 872 units.
