Goodwin Heart Pine Announces Name Change

Micanopy, Fla.-based Goodwin Heart Pine Co. is updating its brand and changing its name to “Goodwin Co.” The company, which was founded in 1976, is changing its name to better reflect its expanded business, which includes a new line of engineered flooring and additional fine-wood species. The company specializes in recovering logs from river bottoms and transforming them into high-quality flooring.
