IKEA to Grow to 500 Stores by 2020

Deft, Netherlands-based IKEA plans to increase its store count to around 500 by 2020, according to The Wall Street Journal. Currently, the Swedish furniture retailer operates about 300 stores. IKEA also recently announced that by the end of fiscal 2020, it plans to quadruple sales of sustainable products, and that it will sell only energy-efficient diode lamps and bulbs and use only LED lighting in its stores by 2016.
