New York-based J. Crew Group Inc. is expanding its Ludlow offering and plans to open its second store devoted to the concept in Boston this fall, according to www.wwd.com. Earlier this year, the company opened its first Ludlow Shop, a 2,100-sq.-ft. store at 50 Hudson St. In addition to the suit that inspired the store, the company now offers the Ludlow Shirt, a “proper dress shirt” with a trim, tailored fit. The Boston store, slated to open in September, will be located at Copley Place.
