Hudson, Ohio-based Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores will open its 800th store on March 21. The new store will be located in Slidell, La. In addition to the Louisiana store, the company plans to open eight other stores in March, including locations in Couer d’Alene, Idaho; Corbin and Louisville, Ky.; Muscatine, Iowa; Red Wing, Minn.; St. Louis; Sault Sainte Marie, Mich.; and Selinsgrove, Pa. Currently, Jo-Ann operates about 800 stores across the country.
