Canadian fashion brand Joe Fresh and Plano, Texas-based J.C. Penney Co. Inc. opened a Joe Fresh pop-up store in Los Angeles, according to www.wwd.com. The pop-up, which was open through March 10, gave shoppers a preview of what the brand’s jcpenney in-store shops will look like when they are rolled out on March 15. Housed in a glass-rimmed, 4,000-sq.-ft. space on the corner of Melrose Avenue and Crescent Heights Boulevard, the pop-up featured 35 Joe Fresh styles, clothes grouped by color stories, clean merchandising and a dominantly white color palette with orange accents. Joe Fresh, which is sold in about 350 locations in Canada, including 14 of its own stores, operates six units in the United States, concentrated in New York and New Jersey.
