Johnny Rockets Opens Combined-Concept Restaurant In New York

Aliso Veijo, Calif.-based Johnny Rockets has opened a new restaurant at East River Plaza in New York’s East Harlem neighborhood. The 1,250-sq.-ft., bi-level restaurant features modern architectural elements from the company's new design prototype unveiled earlier this year. Johnny Rockets partnered with Sports Bar and Kafeteria Eatery to develop the combined-concept restaurant, which seats 85 to120 guests inside and outside, sharing seating space on the upper level with Sports Bar and joining with Kafeteria Eatery on the lower level. Guests can purchase food at the to-go window on the ground level or sit in the dining area on the second floor. The East River Plaza location joins 20 other New York-area Johnny Rockets restaurants, including a location at South Street Seaport and four at Yankee Stadium.
