Karl Lagerfeld opened its first European store in Paris on March 1. Located on Boulevard St. Germain, the store concept was designed and implemented by plajer & franz studio in cooperation with Karl Lagerfeld and New York-based creative agency Laird+Partners. The 2,249-sq.-ft. space combines modern and classic design elements, and features strong, contrasting colors, shapes and surfaces. Glass and mirror juxtapose matted materials, creating subtle visual illusions.
