Lane Bryant Opens New York Flagship

Lane Bryant, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Suffern, N.Y.-based Ascena Retail Group Inc., opened a 7,835 sq.-ft. flagship store in New York on March 1. Located on 34th Street near Herald Square, the new store features an updated, modern look, with a grand staircase, and new mannequin styles and fixtures. The fitting rooms offer an adjustable light source that allows customers to change the lighting to “office,” “daylight” or “evening.” Currently, Lane Bryant operates 805 stores.
