Lord & Taylor Outlines Expansion Plans

New York-based Lord & Taylor LLC announced plans to open three new department stores in 2012, according to the New York Post. Two locations are slated to open in March 2012: an 80,000-sq.-ft. store at the Ridge Hill shopping center in Yonkers, N.Y., and a 120,000-sq.-ft. store in Rockingham, N.H., at a shopping mall owned by Simon Property Group. In fall 2012, Lord & Taylor will open an 80,000-sq.-ft. store in Boca Raton, Fla., at Mizner Park, bringing its total number of full-priced stores to 50.
