M&T Bank Opens New Signature Design Branch

Buffalo, N.Y.-based M&T Bank Corp. has opened a new, energy-efficient, 3,310-sq.-ft. retail branch in Newburgh, N.Y. Architect Lorenzo Apicella of the international design firm Pentagram designed the project, which was constructed to meet LEED standards. The new branch is part of the company’s $10 million investment initiative in the Hudson Valley. M&T has already completed a combination of building renovations and interior improvements at an additional 28 branches. Currently, M&T operates 750 branch offices in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C.
