Marlite Acquires Global Design Solutions

Dover, Ohio-based Marlite has acquired Miami-based Global Design Solutions (GDS). Established in 2000, GDS provides master planning, retail store design and branding to the cosmetics, clothing, footwear, jewelry and duty-free industries. With a strong presence in Latin America, GDS will help Marlite to expand into new markets. In addition, GDS gives Marlite extended capabilities in interior design, project management, graphic design, sourcing and manufacturing. GDS has transitioned into Marlite’s operation center in Miami where the company has added nearly 25,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing and office space.
