Nordstrom to Open Stores in Texas, Florida

Seattle-based Nordstrom Inc. plans to open full-line stores in The Woodlands, Texas, and Jacksonville, Fla. The bi-level, 138,000-sq.-ft. Texas store will be located at The Woodlands Mall. Slated to open in fall 2014, the store will mark the fourth in the greater-Houston area. The bi-level, 124,000-sq.-ft. Florida store will be located at St. Johns Town Center. It also is slated to open in fall 2014. Currently, the company operates 231 stores in 31 states, including 117 full-line stores, 110 Nordstrom Racks, two Jeffrey boutiques, one treasure&bond store and one clearance store.
