Seattle-based Nordstrom plans to expand in Canada through a partnership with the Cadillac Fairview Corp. Ltd., according to www.wwd.com. Nordstrom will be taking multiple Canadian sites, possibly including the Sears unit in the Sherway Gardens mall in Toronto. Nordstrom has previously confirmed intentions to expand in the country and is looking at other Canadian locations in Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal. Currently, Nordstrom operates 231 stores in 31 states.
