AgroTrade Intl., a firm headed by senior executives of Russia’s largest food retailer X5 Retail Group N.V., plans to debut a new grocery chain in the United States, according to Supermarket News. Called Okey-Dokey Grocery Markets, the new chain will make its debut in Florida, with the first store scheduled to open Sept. 1. The group plans to open between eight and 12 stores this year, followed by 50 stores per year beginning in 2013. The stores will average 7,500 sq. ft. and will stock a mix of national and private brands, with plans to eventually sell 50 percent private brands.
