Printemps to Open New Stores in 2014

French department store chain Printemps plans to open two new stores in 2014, according to www.wwd.com. The new stores, which will mark the company’s first new additions to its retail network in more than 30 years, will include a 32,000-sq.-ft. unit in the Carrousel du Louvre shopping mall in Paris, and a two-story, 64,500-sq.-ft. unit within the Terrasses du Port mall in Marseille, France. Currently, Printemps operates 16 department stores in France, including a Paris flagship located on Boulevard Haussmann.
