Saks Renovates West Coast Men’s Store

New York-based Saks Inc. has renovated its men’s store in Beverly Hills, Calif., according to www.wwd.com. Called The Fifth Man, the four-level 54,000-sq.-ft. store is located on Wilshire Boulevard. The unit, which was designed by Timothy Pflueger, originally opened in 1995. The revnovation includes new designer shops, the company’s largest men’s shoe offering on the West Coast and an underground denim and cocktails area called D-Bar. Other design features include distressed European white oak floors, sustainable composite flooring, furniture from Matter, Porro, Boffi NY and Julian Chichester, and custom fixtures.
