Second San Francisco CityTarget to Open in 2013

Minneapolis-based Target Corp. will open its second CityTarget store in San Francisco in October 2013. The 119,000-sq.-ft. store will be located at the southwest corner of Geary and Masonic streets. On Oct. 10, the company opened the doors to its first-ever San Francisco Target store, also a CityTarget, at the Metreon. Target also debuted its urban, small-format concept in Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles and Westwood, Calif., earlier this year. In addition to the San Francisco West store, the company plans to open CityTarget stores in Portland, Ore., and Los Angeles in 2013.
