Shoppers Rank Favorite Online Retailers

Amazon.com topped the list of consumers' favorite online retailers this year, according to the most recent Stores Media Favorite 50 Online Retailers survey conducted by BIGresearch. The top 10 most popular e-retailers remained the same as last year, while a few new companies made the list and others returned. Rankings were determined by the total number of responses to the following questions: “What website do you shop most often for apparel items?” and “What website do you shop most often for non-apparel items?” Following Amazon.com, the other top 10 e-retailers are: Walmart.com (2), eBay.com (3), BestBuy.com (4), JCPenny.com (5), Target.com (6), Kohls.com (7), Google.com (8), Overstock.com (9) and Sears.com (10). A few online retailers, Express.com, Aéropostale.com and Nike.com, made the list for the first time, and BananaRepublic.com reappeared after a one-year hiatus.
