Steak ‘n Shake to Open First International Location

Indianapolis-based Steak ‘n Shake has entered its first international development agreement to open restaurants in the Middle East. As part of an agreement with the Saleh Bin Lahej Group, the company will open 40 restaurants throughout the United Arab Emirates. The first location is slated to open in Dubai during 2013. Currently, Steak ‘n Shake operates both corporate and multiunit franchise territories with nearly 500 restaurants.
