Minneapolis-based Target Corp. has begun remodeling 30 general merchandise stores in the United States. The stores being remodeled are part of the last of three cycles of remodels for the company this year and span markets from Cincinnati to Jacksonville, Fla. and Nashville, Tenn. Upon completion of construction in October 2012, the stores will offer an expanded grocery selection, addition to the chain’s nearly 1,100 Target stores that currently offer an expanded food layout. At these stores, approximately 10,000 sq. ft. is dedicated to fresh food choices.
