The Fresh Market to Debut in California

Greensboro, N.C.-based The Fresh Market Inc. will open its first-ever California stores, according to Investor’s Business Daily. The grocer plans to open three stores in the state, including one store in Santa Barbara, one in Palo Alto and a third in Roseville. The first store is expected to open either late this year or early 2013. Fresh Market stores typically measure approximately 21,000 sq. ft., and are known for their upscale design elements.
