Vince Camuto Opens New York Store

Greenwich, Conn.-based Vince Camuto LLC recently opened a new store in New York's SoHo neighborhood, according to www.wwd.com. The 2,500-sq.-ft, flagship—which is located at 532 Broadway between Prince and Spring streets—offers both the Vince Camuto and more upscale VC Signature collections of handbags and footwear. Also, a selection of Vince Camuto sportswear and accessories is housed in the back of the store. Along the back wall, a floor-to-ceiling video screen displays footage of the brand's imagery, ad campaigns, product shots and celebrity fans. The store—which drew inspiration from the architecture and interior design of traditional villas during the Renaissance period—features diamond motifs and quilting techniques combined with a rich color palette.
