Virgin Mobile to Open First-Ever Retail Stores

Virgin Mobile, a carrier of Overland Park, Kan.-based Sprint Nextel Corp., plans to open its first-ever bricks-and-mortar stores, according to Bloomberg. Virgin, which had previously relied on retailers, such as RadioShack and Best Buy, to market its service, will open its first 10 stores in Chicago. According to the report, the Chicago outlets could lead to a national rollout.
