Von Maur to Open First Location in Oklahoma

Davenport, Iowa-based Von Maur Department Stores has signed a contract to open a 150,000-sq.-ft. store in Oklahoma City in fall 2014. The two-level store, which will be located at Quail Springs Mall, will mark the company’s first-ever location in Oklahoma. It will receive a complete renovation beginning in summer 2013 in order to feature Von Maur’s exterior brick façade and signature residential ambience, with antiques, original artwork and open floor plan. In addition to the opening of its second Georgia location in Atlanta in November 2012, Von Maur also announced plans to grow into New York and Alabama in fall 2013. Currently, the company operates 27 stores in 11 states.
