West Elm to Open First-Ever Utah Store

Brooklyn, N.Y.-based West Elm plans to open a new retail store in Salt Lake City. The store, located in the City Creek Center, is slated to open Oct. 11, and will mark the retailer’s first-ever location in the state of Utah. Through a partnership with Etsy, the store also will feature a collection of decorative accessories and art made by artists from the Salt Lake City area. The company made its retail debut in 2003, and currently operates 42 stores.
