Whole Foods to Open Chicago Store

Austin, Texas-based Whole Foods Market will open a new store in the Englewood neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side. Slated to open in 2016, the 18,000-sq.-ft. store is part of a 13-acre development located at the intersection of South Halsted and West 63rd streets. Whole Foods has 18 Chicago stores, with three under development, including location in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago, Lake Forest and Park Ridge, Ill.
